British rock band Muse performed a sell-out gig at London’s Emirates Stadium on Saturday, before continuing the party in a somewhat unconventional way.

The after-party, which had an ‘Anti-Corporate Greed’ theme, featured crazy entertainment such as dwarves carrying trays of fake cocaine, a bearded lady performing a striptease, gambling pigs and a woman who stubbed cigars out on her tongue and invited guests to staple money to her body.  Throughout the evening the partygoers were entertained by an all-female string quartet dressed as characters from classic film A Clockwork Orange.

The idea for the dwarves came about through a friendship between one of the band and Queen’s Roger Taylor.  "It was hilarious. Muse drummer Dominic Howard is best friends with Roger Taylor, who comes to all of their gigs. And he knows Roger is sick of being asked about the stories about Queen snorting coke from bald dwarves' heads and making them carry coke around on silver platters," a source told MailOnline. "So they thought it would be funny to send dwarves around carrying lines of sherbet on trays."

Many celebrities were spotted at the bash, including frontman Matt Bellamy’s fiancée Kate Hudson.  “Drummer Dominic stuck fake Muse banknotes on to a stripper's bum and Kate Hudson even stubbed a cigar out on a burlesque dancer's tongue,” a source told The Sun.

Black Sabbath, one of the biggest names in metal have come clean about the absence of drummer Bill Ward on their reunion tour.

Guitarist Tony Iommi cut off the talks but not over dollars or arguments. It was because he felt he was short on time.

Iommi was diagnosed with cancer last year right after the reunion was announced. As negotiations dragged out between the band and Ward, Tony became worried that his time would run out before the band could accomplish anything.

Tony told Guitar World "Once I heard 'cancerous lymphoma,' I thought, 'That's it. I've had it.' We waited a long time for Bill and we wanted to sort it out. But at the end of the day, especially after I was diagnosed, I thought, 'Fucking hell, that's it ' we've got to get a move on. I might pop off next year!'

"So I emailed him and said, 'Bill, we can't wait any longer. We've got to get on with it.' And that was it."

Luckily, things look much brighter for Iommi as it does for Black Sabbath, who will release their new album 13 on June 10 and follow with a world tour.

Jamie Cullum surprised commuters yesterday morning with an impromptu gig in the middle of rush hour at St Pancras Station.

He played five songs from his new album 'Momentum' and was joined by 13 members of The National Youth Jazz Orchestra who provided a superb brass band backing to 'When I Get Famous' and 'Get Your Way'.

Jamie joked with the audience of commuters saying, "your not in a rush to get anywhere are you?" in between an electrifying performance of his new material that had him standing up on top of the piano. Mark Armstrong the artistic and music director for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra said, "Playing with Jamie has been a fantastic experience. It was a great mix between busking and written music as we went along, which just shows you what Jazz is all about."

Jamie also later performed at housing and homelessness charity Shelter yesterday, being the first artist to perform on the roof of their London HQ. The show was streamed live online at

The day then finished with Jamie playing an exclusive show for a small audience of invited guests at The Shard, London. He played a mixture of tracks from his new album as well as some favourites from previous records to the backdrop of a south London sunset. Celebrity guests that joined Jamie in celebrating the release of his new album included Tinie Tempah, Jordan (Rizzle Kicks), Alan Carr, Amber Le Bon, Eliza Doolittle, Jade Parfitt and McLaren boss Ron Dennis.

Jamie's new album 'Momentum' is out through Island Records now.

Prince, who received the Billboard Icon Award at Sunday night's ceremony, has announced that he's created a unique new partnership with independent music services company Kobalt Music Group. Prince's issues with record labels are well known, particularly his long and very public feud with his original label, then Warner Bros., particularly over freedom of music releases and control over his masters.

Most fans believed that he would never sign with another label again, but Kobalt markets themselves as an alternative to the traditional label model, offering recording owners what they call a full-service solution to releasing and marketing records while maintaining ownership of their masters. This new deal is expected to give Prince the ability to self-release music globally with a new level of flexibility and freedom. According to Kobalt, Prince will release a slate of music by new artists, as well as his own recordings and other Prince-produced material.

The legendary performer plans to provide artist development and recording services for newly signed artists that Kobalt will market and distribute globally. 'This new venture gives Prince the flexibility and freedom he's always sought in a label partner. We're providing a high level of diverse services that will be particularly customized to his vision for each release, allowing the world to experience more music from Prince and his creative community,' said Richard Sanders, President of Kobalt.

Prince is nearing the end of an 18-date club tour with his highly acclaimed new band, 3rd Eye Girl, with the last two shows happening this Saturday night in his home town of Minneapolis. Prince yesterday received the prestigious Billboard Icon Award during the live broadcast of the Billboard Music Awards. His protégé, Andy Allo, was named 'Billboard's Next Big Diva' and performed at the Billboard pre-party on Saturday night. Prince will headline the Montreux Jazz Festival later this year, along with select dates in Europe and in the U.S. His latest single, Fix Ur Life Up, was released on iTunes last week, amidst talk of a new album with 3rd Eye Girl on the way. gathers and brings you the latest news from the music industry. is the UK and Europes biggest and most popular price comparison site for musical instruments and accessories.
